The Student Advisory Group (SAG) provides an important student voice to the Council of Deans of Nutrition and Dietetics, informing national discussions and strategic directions for nutrition and dietetics education including:
Identifying key strategic issues from a student perspective for the attention of the CDND.
Ensuring that Indigenous perspectives – Māori worldviews and perspectives (including on equity and alignment with Te Tiriti o Waitangi), and those of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples’ ways of knowing, doing and being are considered across Nutrition and Dietetics programs, student experiences, and key strategic issues.
Providing advice and input to consultations on policy and discussions that are related to Nutrition and Dietetics programs with a particular focus on the student perspective and experience.
Contributing to discussion papers on key matters relating to Nutrition and Dietetics programs.
