Future of the Profession - Phase 2
STATUS: Recruitment and data collection underway
About:
Prof Margaret Allman-Farinelli (The University of Sydney) leads this initiative. This piece of work follows from the recently completed “Future-proofing the nutrition and dietetic profession in Australasia” and has a focus on student perspectives of the future of dietetics and what attracts students to the profession.
We aim to discover the different aspirations and motivations of students in choosing an allied health profession and what might be barriers and enablers to attracting students to dietetics and studying nutrition. This will allow us to explore recommendations to develop a diverse and inclusive dietetic cohort across Australia.
